This naturally occurring fossil clay, holds many household and personal uses. For external uses, this fine powder makes an effective pest control for ants, ticks, fleas, crickets, and any other crawling small bug. When the bug walks thru the powder, it attaches itself to their legs and eventually makes them immovable. This makes a very useful pest control that is fully natural in the garden as well as around the house.
You can also give this product to livestock for the internal elimination of worms. For human consumption, people swear by it for colon cleansing. We cannot provide information on how to do this for either livestock or humans. We suggest contacting your vet or natural doctor to obtain that informaiton.
For cosmetic use, it is an anti-caking agent and highly absorbent. It's also an opacifying agent, meaning it "hides" or lighten the appearance of blemishes when used in cosmetics. This makes it a handy addition for any facial powder or product designed to "cover up."
INCI: Solum diatomeae (diatomaceous earth) clay
Please note that naturally occurring earth clays cannot be "certified organic" in the USA. The term "organic" is reserved for items that are grown in a field under organic supervision. Our natural clays are 100% pure, but since it doesn't meet the FDA's requirement of being field grown, its not certifiable. If it were possible, we would have this item marked as organic. It can, however be sold as 100% natural.
