This cedarwood essential oil smells less "cedar" and more grassy/earthy than our other Atlas Cedarwood, which holds more truer cedar notes. Depending upon the scent throw you are looking to achieve, this would be your determining factor in which cedarwood to use. Both are from true cedarwood trees, whereas other types of cedarwood essential oil sold on the market are actually from junipers - a tree relative of cedarwood, but with different beneficial properties.
Cedarwood is noted for its and "calming" benefits. Its often used in diffusers to reduce respiratory infections and clear sinus and lung congestion. For bath products, this essential oil is good for skin issues like eczema and dandruff, and for facial products, it helps combat against excessively oily skin.

Stop using if there is any irritation. Research each oil well before using. Some oils cannot be used by those with certain health conditions. do not use this essential oil if you are pregnant.
Extraction Method/Origin: Steam distilled. India.
INCI: Cedrus deodara (cedarwood) essential oil
Cultivation: Wildharvested. This means that this plant material was found in areas that were not from a farmed plantation, most often well away from highly populated areas, making it an extremely nill risk of being chemically treated. In our opinion wildharvested products are sometimes better than organic, because it was grown entirely by nature without the intervention of mankind.
