It has been proven that the elenoic acid which this leaf contains is highly antibacterial but studies have also shown that this leaf also encourages circulation, thus the healing power of the olive could also be attributed to assisting the body's own natural defense system as well as its antibacterial benefits.

Infuse this herb directly into your oils intended for healing salves, using the method of your choice - then strain out the herb. You can also use this herb directly in the tub by adding it to a muslin bag (so the tub doesn't get messy) - toss the bag into the tub and soak away. Consider mixing other skin healing herbs into your blend as well.

This cut & sifted leaf is sourced from a certified organic grower. It is a food grade herb which can be used as a consumable tea as well. For internal benefits, this herb has been linked to the lowering of blood sugars and blood pressure.
