Tangerine Butter is produced from the oil obtained from the peel of fresh tangerines. First the oil is cold pressed from the flesh of the fruit, then refined. It contains high levels of Vitamin A, which have been shown to be an effective treatment additive for oily prone skin types, especially those who suffer from acne. Tangerine oil is also noted in aromatherapy for its stress relieving benefits. Thus the addition of this butter to any night creams or massage creams will add that extra benefit.

Please note that this butter holds a deep orange color and smells wonderfully, yet not overly strong of fresh cut tangerines, and its a much softer butter than many butters, though it still does hold its form.

Suggested usage ratio is 3%-100% and can be used in lotions, creams, soaps and other beauty care recipes.
