This butter is extracted from the fruit seeds of the Madhuca tree, found in India. It holds a creamy smooth texture which is very soft, melting immediately upon skin contact. When added directly on your skin, its less "waxy" or "heavy" feeling than shea butter, and seems to be absorbed much faster.

Mowrah butter would be great in bar soaps, lotions, and creams .. especially those that are intended to treat and restore skin flexibility and to help regenerate skin cell production. You can use this butter at a ratio of anywhere between 1 and 100%.
