This floral scented hydrosol water is steamed distilled in small batches to produce a high quality jasmine water. Our waters are made from wildcrafted, Jasminum officinale buds and were distilled for the sole purpose of creating this hydrosol water. They are not the by-product of essential oil distilling, nor are they essential oils suspended in water with a cosmetic carrier.

Hydrosol waters can be used in lotions, creams, bath preparations or straight on the skin for a soothing and healing effect. They provide mild tonic and skin cleansing properties and are generally safe for all skin types, even children.

Jasmine oil (the active ingredient in this hydrosol water) is known for its pleasing scent and skin soothing benefits. It is often added to healing skin balms where its anti-inflammatory benefits are passed onto the skin. The flowers are used to treat minor pain and skin sensitivity. They are also a mild sedative.

This water contains a 1% blend of three food-grade preservatives, which are natural organic compounds: potassium sorbate, sorbic acid and citric acid. No other preservatives or fillers are added.
