Aloe has been used for thousands of years in the aid of skin healing as well as internal cleansing. It holds proven antioxidant compounds which act similar to aspirin. These components relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and lead to healing from such issues as ezcema, psoriasis and other abrasions. Generally, aloe is applied topically to surface wounds, and not puncture or deep cuts. As an internal product, aloe has been shown to help lower blood sugar levels. Please note that aloe powder holds a distinctly and seriously bitter taste, which can be improved upon with the added of fruit juices or sugar. Not recommended for internal use if pregnant or nursing.
