This healing and refreshing hydrosol water is steamed distilled in small batches to produce a high quality helichrysum water. Hydrosol waters can be used in lotions, creams, bath preparations or straight on the skin. They provide mild tonic and skin cleansing properties and are generally safe for all skin types, even children.

Helichrysum is well known for its unparalleled skin toning and healing properties. It is excellent as a stand alone skin toner for all skin types, especially mature and/or very dry skin. Herbalists also use it in pain remedy formulas for bruises, sprains and sore muscles. It holds a warm - vaguely spicy scent that would blend well, if desired, with other hydrosol waters or worked into a lotion or healing salve recipe.

This is a cost effective way of receiving the benefits of helichrysum, which is currently quite expensive in essential oil form. Hydrosol waters are also easy to use because they are already diluted but still hold the therapeutic oil of the flower, and can safely be used directly on the skin.

This water contains a blend of two food-grade preservatives, which are natural organic compounds: potassium sorbate, and ascorbic acid (vitamin C). No other preservatives or fillers are added.
