These pleasant smelling dried flowers can be used in beauty care recipes as a natural colorant. Simply infuse them in a small amount of hot water, and allow to set. Discard the flowers and use the 'juice' as a replacement for some of the water content. They produce a beautiful shade of pink. 

On a medicinal note, these flowers are used by herbalists to treat a variety of skin aliments as they are said to hold anti-inflammatory benefits.

These flowers are food grade quality, so you can use them in homemade tea blends. Do not use if you suffer from gallstones.
