This product acts as a natural antibacterial, antiparasitic, antifungal and antiviral inhibitor in soaps, lotions and other beauty care products.

This extract is "food grade" quality and can be used for internal cleansing. However, I do not provide directions for using this item in this manner. If you are interested, there is lots of information available on the internet.

Grapefruit seed extract can also be used as a topical treatment for many skin issues such as bug bites, rashes, and athletes feet. Simply dilute in a carrier oil or distilled water and you've created a highly potent antifungal treatment! If you apply this product topically to already irritated skin, its best to do a small patch test for your first time using this extract this way. Too high of a percentage of grapefruit seed extract can cause a burning sensation on already irritated skin.

For topical treatments and preservative use: Use at a ratio of 1% or less.

Grapefruit seed extract has no scent, and is colorless.

There is a lot of this product on the market, but I guarantee that mine is high quality with a 60% grapefruit seed extract to 40% vegetable glycerin.
